    To uplift the poor people in and through our missionary work the mission in North India was established after several Oblates explored the North India Missions. The New Mission in North India was established on 25th July, 2004, in the diocese of Ambikapur near Boda village. Fr. Peter Sakra OMI, Fr. Amirtharaj OMI, Fr. Kishore Kumar OMI were the pioneers of this Mission. Later the need to educate the children became eminent and the Oblates began a primary school.

    The Church building was constructed in the year 2011. At present there are about 282 families belong to the Mission living in Boda and four remote villages.

OBLATE MISSION

BUDI

     The mission - Budi in Khandwa diocese was inaugurated in the holy Mass presided over by Most Rev. Dr.A.A.S. Durairaj, S.V.D., Bishop of Khandwa diocese on 5 September 2021.Fr. K. Gnanapragasam, OMI and Fr. Sebastian, OMI are the pioneers of this mission. There are 10 Christian families residing at present in this village.Oblates live in a rented house in Budi mission. The new mission was officially accepted on 5th September, 2021.

OBLATE MISSION

LAMBAR

     The mission at Lambar was taken up by the Oblates in 2007. It served as the Oblate Juniorate for few years up to 2015. When the Juniorate was shifted to Ambikapur the mission serves to the village pastoral and social need. Lambar is one of the remote villages of the diocese of Raipur Archdiocese. Fr. Peter Sakra was the Pioneer of the mission.
